A classic coffee from Peru's Chanchamayo Valley, one of the country's major growing regions. Flavourful, aromatic, and mildly acidic, this high-quality coffee is shade grown at a high altitude to produce a denser bean and more complex cup.

What to expect
Our Peru Chanchamayo is a very nice, full-bodied offering; a little bit sweet, smooth and not too acidic. This one is a corker espresso and should produce a good crema. A great blender as well - blend with coffees that are more acidic.

Roasting recommendation: Go darker to bring out the body and the bean’s chocolate notes. Refer to our roasting guide here.

Peru Chanchamayo HB MCM offers a very similar flavour profile to Peru SHB MCM GR1, which we no longer carry. Substitute Chanchamayo for similar.
