Brewing is a sight to behold. That’s why we created the P5 - so people can see the magic of the ESPRO Press at work.
The P5 takes the classic sophistication of a traditional glass French press and perfects it through design and technology. Simply put, the P5 is safer, more durable, and keeps beverages warmer than other glass presses on the market.
We invented a patent-pending Safety Lock™ to completely secure the glass inside the steel cage, and finally eliminate the industry’s issue of glass slipping out while pouring. We designed the German-made Schott Duran® glass to be 40% thicker than a traditional press. And we included our patented double micro-filter for a clean, delicious cup with none of the typical grit and mess.

The Aeropress story: Disappointed with the taste of home-brewed coffee, Alan Adler, a Stanford University engineering lecturer and sports product inventor, decided to create his own alternative.
After making a study of coffee brewing, Alan was able to zero in on the ideal conditions that made great tasting coffee possible, such as total immersion and rapid filtering. A year later, Alan produced the Aeropress: the proud end result of his persistence and design ingenuity.
AN ENTIRELY NEW WAY TO MAKE COFFEE
Water and grounds are mixed together for ten seconds.
Gentle air pressure pushes the mixed water and grounds through a microfilter in 20 seconds.
A total brewing time of around 30 seconds produces an exceptionally smooth and rich flavor.
WHY DOES AEROPRESS COFFEE TASTE SO GOOD?
Total immersion in a rapid yet robust extraction of flavor.
Total immersion allows for extraction at a moderate temperature, resulting in a smoother brew.
Air pressure shortens filtering time to 20 seconds. This avoids the bitterness of long processes such as drip brewing and French press steeping.
The air pressure also gently squeezes the last goodness from the grounds, further enriching the flavor.
The acid level of coffee brewed by an AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker is much lower than that of conventional brewers due to a lower temperature and shorter brew time. Laboratory pH testing has measured the acid content of an AeroPress brew as less than one fifth that of regular drip coffee and less than one ninth that of French press coffee. The low acid result is confirmed by coffee lovers who report that coffee brewed by an AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker is easier on the stomach.
This product comes in a shipping box from Aeropress at no extra cost.
Dimensions: 5" (13cm) Depth x 5" (13cm) Width x 11" (28cm) Height
The Aerobie AeroPress comes complete with filters (350).
