Huehuetenango lies at the foot of the highest non-volcanic mountain range in Central America known as the Cuchumatanes, and as one of the best regions in Guatemala for coffee production. Guatemala's diverse range of altitude, soil and climate permits a landscape well-suited to producing outstanding coffee. Huehuetenango in the country's north highlands is reknowned for coffee distinguished by fruit flavours, a light body, sweet fragrance and a clean, lingering finish.
Guatemala Huehuetenango SHB EP is grown at an altitude between 1,000-1,900 metres and carries a floral, fruity and, at times, milk-chocolaty flavour. It is creamy and light-bodied, delicate and clean.
