Rattleware Tampers

Rattleware tampers all feature highly durable, impact resistant ABS handles and precision stainless steel bases for an even tamp. Each tamper is a one-piece item, which means it will not fall apart, it is durable, and there are no nooks to clean out, so low maintenance.

To choose the right size for your tamper base, measure the diameter of the inside of your portafilter (in millimeters). Your tamper should be just smaller than your portafilter for a snug, but not too tight, fit for ease of use. 

Select from three different handle shapes:

Angular:
The handle has a flat top with rounded edges that can help

• Diameter of handle at widest point: 1.75" (4.5cm)
• Handle height (from top of base): 2.75" (7cm)
• Overall height (bottom to top): 3.5" (9cm)

Large Round:
This tall handle with a smooth round finish overall is very easy to grip comfortably.

• Diameter of handle at widest point: 1.75" (4.5cm)
• Handle height (from top of base): 2.75" (7cm)
• Overall height (from bottom base to top): 3.5" (8.5cm)

Small Round:
This smaller-handled tamper is perfect for those with smaller hands.

• Diameter of handle at widest point: 1.75" (4.5cm)
• Handle height(from top of base): 2.5" (6.4cm)
• Overall height (bottom to top): 3" (7.6cm)

Each of these tampers come in a base size of 57mm or 58mm.
