About the bean

This Yunnan is a fancy bean - a strong, high-mountain Typica with a slightly fruity aroma. A fine and smooth mouthfeel with pleasant flavour notes of nut and tobacco. This is not a coffee taste we're familiar with in North America, and, as such, a taste to explore and open to. What is striking about this coffee is the way it increases in complexity and expresses more flavour at a darker roast - cleaner too - when typically those characteristics are more pronounced at a lighter roast. Upside down world!

Yunnan Old Seed beans are dried on racks and then processed.

Good for pour over, French press; espresso, or part of a blend.
