About the bean

The Coope Tarrazú cooperative represents over 3,000 members and stands as a model for ethical, high-quality coffee production that empowers small farmers while delivering exceptional beans. For these reasons and more, this cooperative is our go-to source for outstanding Costa Rican coffee. Located in the renowned Tarrazú mountains, a region celebrated worldwide for its high-altitude cultivation, the “Strictly Hard Bean” arabica beans from here thrive in this region’s magnificent terroir.

This brand-new lot from Coope Tarrazú once again delivers a gem of a brew. Smooth and sweet with a light acidity, the appealing simplicity is elevated by a distinct almond-honey flavour profile. Absolutely delightful! We enjoyed this one brewed as a drip at a medium roast—no fuss, perfect as it is.
