Shipping Costs
Shipping costs will be shown on the shopping cart when you check out.

Shipping Delays
The estimated delivery dates are provided automatically by Canada Post and UPS, and by Green Beanery in other cases. This delivery date may not be met for a variety of reasons. They include:

a) Canada Post and UPS (but not our other carriers) assume parcels are shipped the same day as the order is placed. We often ship the same day, but more often we ship the following day (this is the standard we advertise).
b) The carrier may miss its own delivery standard.
c) The credit card payment authorization may experience a delay in being approved.

Duty/Brokerage Fees
Shipments made outside of Canada may be subject to Duties, National taxes, and/or Brokerage fees.  Please be aware that the customer is solely responsible for any of these additional charges.

BUNN Drop Ship
Some Bunn merchandise (commercial machines and most parts) are not carried at our warehouse but at the Bunn factory in Aurora, ON.  When purchasing these items, the customer can either have them drop-shipped from the Bunn factory directly to them or pick them up in person. In the event of a drop ship, shipping charges will apply after the product has been shipped.  Customer service representatives from the Green Beanery will follow up.

Notification of a drop-ship item will appear on the "Shipping" page of the Shopping Cart. 

Packages                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Green Beanery Package deals are set and are not eligible for substitutions.  Retroactive combination deals are only available up to 14 days after initial purchase and then only as store credit.

Shipping Damage
U.S. and international customers take note: the Canada Post Small Packet Air, Small Packet Surface and Small Envelope mail options do not offer liability coverage - there is no tracking provided and no refund in case of loss or damage in transit. To add insurance to orders shipped via Purolator and for products that are drop-shipped via courier, please leave a request in the comment field during the online checkout process requesting insurance to be added.

 

Our Return Policy

Please inspect your purchase carefully before you use it, to ensure that it is as expected. We do not accept the return of goods once used.

Unused products, excluding coffee, may be returned within 14 days of purchase (or by January 15, in the case of products purchased in December as gifts). There is a 10% restocking fee for returned products. We will reimbuse 90% of the product's original puchase price but we do not reimburse our shipping costs. Simply call our office during the 14 or 30-day return period to explain the problem and to obtain an RMA authorization number (Return Authorization Number -- we do not automatically accept returns without authorization). Once you have the RMA, you may return the product to our office. Be sure to include:

  1. All the parts and accessories as well as the product itself
  2. The instruction booklets
  3. All packaging in good condition
  4. Clear labelling on the package, in particular the RMA #

Securely pack items and seal the package. Attach From/To Labels to the package and remove any other shipping labels. Please use the form below, return via Canada Post and be sure to insure the shipment for its full value. Retain a copy of the shipping receipt and tracking number; this is your proof of shipment if the machine is lost or damaged. You are responsible for the return shipping costs. We do not accept collect or postage-due shipments.

If the original packaging needs to be replaced, or if an unused machine or items are returned to us without authorization (an RMA number), the restocking fee will be 15%.

If your returned product arrives in new and resaleable condition, in its original cartons and its original packing, with all accessories, guarantees and instructions, and if the return has been authorized, we will refund 90% of the full cost of the appliance, but not any shipping and handling costs.

For sales outside Canada and the USA, the customer pays for shipping both ways on all returns.

If you bring your exchange item to our retail store, no shipping and handling fees apply, if everything is otherwise in order.

Please note: If you are exchanging an item for another item of higher value, you will be asked to pay the difference in price, including taxes. If you are exchanging an item for another item of lesser value, the difference will be returned to you as a store credit.
