The warranty policies for the products we sell are listed below. This warranty information applies only to new machines. Please check the specific brands below for Green Beanery terms and enhancements to manufacturers' warranties. Where enhancements aren't mentioned, the manufacturer's terms and warranty applies.
Note: In all cases, there is no warranty on glass products or glass components of products.
Canada Post and other couriers do not accept responsibility for breakage or damage incurred in transit if the product involves glass. We recommend purchasing glass insurance for orders that include products made of glass or with glass components. Insurance can be added on here.
In addition to the warranties described below, Green Beanery offers its members free one-year extended warranties. See our FAQ page for more details.
In the event of an issue, the supplier or manufacturer is typically consulted for troubleshooting advice and/or assistance. Most issues can be resolved through third-party assistance, replacement parts or a replacement unit, if need be.
Please do not return an item without consulting us first at firstname.lastname@example.org. Items returned without consultation are immediately ineligible for a full refund.
Warranty on products purchased via Amazon: For Green Beanery products purchased through Amazon, the manufacturer's warranty applies. The warranty coverage we offer below is applicable only to purchases made via our website (Greenbeanery.ca) and not purchases made via a third-party vendor, like Amazon. This also applies to bonuses, discounts and other offers attached to product sales via the Green Beanery website - purchases made via Amazon are not eligible for these deals.
AeroPress: The manufacturer will replace defective items that are reported within 14 days after an order is received. For more information, please contact Green Beanery. Green Beanery does offer optional insurance on AeroPress glass products for a two-month period, beginning with the date of shipment, to cover shipments and the period immediately following.
Ascaso: 1 year parts and labour through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period.
Baratza: One year warranty through the manufacturer from the date of purchase. Please contact email@example.com or call toll-free 877-701-2021 for assistance.
Behmor/Brazen: 1 year limited warranty through Behmor Inc. Warranty covers replacement of a defective unit and/or parts, provided the Owner Registration Card has been completed and returned to Behmor Inc. (or completed online at www.behmor.com), within 30 days from the date of purchase. Full Warranty information for the Behmor 1600 is listed here and should be read prior to purchase. Bialetti: 1 year parts and labour through Aurora Importing (with offices in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia).
Bodum: On electric items, 1 year parts and labour through Bodum. *Glassware:* Breakage during normal product use is not covered in any way under Bodum's policy and is the sole responsibility of the consumer.
Bunn: 3-years for home products, 2 years for My Café Single Cup Multi-Use Brewer for Home (MCU), 1-year for commercial products. All warranties cover parts and labour through the manufacturer. Warranty questions can be directed to Green Beanery: sales@GreenBeanery.ca. Or contact Bunn Canada directly for assistance: 800-263-2256, email@example.com. Returns: For items drop-shipped from third-party suppliers, such as the BUNN and Zojirushi equipment lines, returns must be processed by our third-party supplier directly. Note: Bunn applies a 25% restocking fee to all returns. Defective items are another matter. In the event of a return/exchange involving a third-party supplier, contact firstname.lastname@example.org in the first instance for assistance.
Capresso/FAEMA: 1-year limited warranty through the distributor FAEMA. All electric appliances are guaranteed for a period of one year against any or all manufacturing defects, except for wear and tear items, electrical apparatus, gaskets, parts, and willful damage. Any merchandise requiring service during the warranty period must be shipped prepaid to Faema’s Service Department or an Authorized Service Agency close to the customer. Repairs performed during the warranty period will be performed free of charge so long as the damage/claim is caused by the manufacturing process and not due to improper use and/or handling. The repaired merchandise will be shipped back to the customer prepaid. For warranty claims or further inquiries, call Faema Canada at 416-535-1555.
Cilio: Electrical items (including timers) 2-year warranty. Other products: a 5-year warranty. Contact sales@GreenBeanery.ca.
Curtis: Covered by the supplier: 3 years parts and labour from the original date of purchase, as listed on the digital control board. 2 years parts from the original date of purchase on all other electrical components, fittings and tubing. 1-year labour from the original date of purchase on all electrical components, fittings and tubing. Espro: Warranty questions regarding defective or damaged items should be directed to the manufacturer via e-mail to:email@example.com.
FreshRoast: 1-year warranty on the base unit. No warranty coverage extends to the top assembly (chaff collector, top cap and basket). Contact the manufacturer (based in Utah) directly for assistance - email: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone (435) 729-9170 or (805) 501-7731.
Frieling: Frieling French presses carry a 5-year manufacturer's warranty. All warranty issues should be directed to email@example.com. Any issue should include at least 2 pictures of the defective product, including a close-up, and a brief description of the problem. Frieling deals with these issues very quickly and will respond directly to the consumer. For non-warranty issues, Green Beanery carries the full Frieling line of replacement parts.

Hottop: 1-year limited warranty on parts and labour through Green Beanery. Shipping and handling charges, if any, are not included in the warranty. Contact sales@GreenBeanery.ca for more information.
Keepcup: Keepcup covers accidental glass or plug breakage within the first 30 days of purchase when provided with proof of purchase. Keepcup will also cover any defects that is determined to be manufacturer issues, provided the customer can submit photos and details of the issue for verification. To proceed please contact Keepcup here with proof of purchase and images: https://help.keepcup.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. If an issue does occur, we advise you to keep the other components for reuse.
Krups: Labour and parts warranty for one year through Krups directly. Please contact Krups at 1-800-418-3325 for assistance with proof of purchase.
Melitta: For coffee makers, Melitta provides a one-year warranty. Customers should contact the manufacturer directly at: 1-800-565-4882 with proof of purchase. *Glassware:* Breakage during normal product use is not covered in any way under Melitta's policy and is the sole responsibility of the consumer.
Presso: 1-year guarantee through manufacturer. Contact sales@GreenBeanery.ca for more information.
Rancilio: 1-year labour and parts warranty through Green Beanery for new, boxed models. For display models, warranty is 1 year. Green Beanery is an authorized Rancilio dealer. Free pickup and delivery service provided in much of the GTA. Otherwise, shipping and handling charges, if any, are not included in the warranty.
Saeco: Now known as Philips Saeco; 1 year parts and labour; lifetime warranty on the Central Brewing Unit through the manufacturer. Contact Philips Saeco for assistance at: 1-800-371-7597.
Solar: 1-year parts and labour warranty through manufacturer. Shipping and handling charges, if any, are not included in the warranty. Contact sales@GreenBeanery.ca for more information.
Technivorm: For all equipment purchased after January 21, 2013 - 5 years limited warranty through Transcend coffee. For all equipment purchased before this date: 1 year parts and labour through Transcend Coffee Corp. (Alberta), contact: 1-866-430-9198.
Zassenhaus: 25-year warranty on the grinding mechanism. Grinder body and other items are covered under 5-year warranty. 2-year warranty for electric products. Contact Green Beanery at sales@GreenBeanery.ca for details.
