Warranty Information

Please check out below the warranty policies that apply to the products we sell. The warranty information listed below applies only to new machines.

Aerobie Inc. (AeroPress): *Aerobie Inc. will replace defective items that are reported within 14 days after an order is received. For more information on Aerobie's policy, please contact Green Beanery. *Glassware:* Breakage during normal product use is not covered in any way under Aerobie's policy and is the sole responsibility of the consumer. Green Beanery does offer optional insurance on Aerobie glass products for a two-month period, beginning with the date of shipment, to cover shipments and the period immediately following.

Ascaso: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period.

Avirnaki: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period.

Baratza: One year warranty through the manufacturer from the date of purchase. Please contact support@baratza.com or call toll-free 877-701-2021 for assistance.

Behmor: 1 year limited warranty through Behmor Inc. Warranty covers replacement of a defective unit and/or parts, provided the Owner Registration Card has been completed and returned to Behmor Inc. (or completed online at www.behmor.com), within 30 days from the date of purchase. Full Warranty information for the Behmor 1600 is listed here and should be read prior to purchase. 

Brazen Brewer: 24 months limited warranty by Boyd's Coffee, Oregon, USA. Customers should contact Boyd's at 1-800-546-4077 or retail@boyds.com.

Bialetti: 1 year parts and labor through Aurora Importing (with offices in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia). Warranty questions can be directed to Green Beanery: sales@GreenBeanery.ca.

Bodum: On electric items, 1 year parts and labor through Bodum. *Canadian customers:* for claims regarding electric products, please contact the Green Beanery. For all other customer service inquiries regarding non-electric items, please call 1-877-992-6386. *US customers:* for inquiries regarding non-electric items call 1-877-992-6386. Inquiries regarding electric items will be directed to the appropriate contact, when you call the same number: 1-877-992-6386. *Glassware:* Breakage during normal product use is not covered in any way under Bodum's policy and is the sole responsibility of the consumer. Green Beanery does offer optional insurance on glass products for a two-month period, beginning with the date of shipment, to cover shipments and the period immediately following.

Briel: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. Bunn: For home products in the Bunn line - 3 years parts and labor through the manufacturer. For commercial products - 1 year parts and labor through the manufacturer. Warranty questions can be directed to the Green Beanery: sales@GreenBeanery.ca.

Caffe Rosto and Digirosto: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or, in the event that Green Beanery is unable to service a product covered by us, a pro-rated credit will be issued for the remainder of the warranty. Note - in the case of refurbished Digirosto machines (always identified as such): contact Green Beanery for support at sales@GreenBeanery.ca, if need be. We offer help desk assistance but we do not provide a parts or labor warranty for refurbished machines in the Digirosto line.

Capresso/FAEMA: 1 year limited warranty through the distributor FAEMA. All electric appliances are guaranteed for a period of one year against any or all manufacturing defects, except for wear and tear items, electrical apparatus, gaskets, parts, and willful damage. Any merchandise requiring service during the warranty period must be shipped prepaid to Faema’s Service Department or an Authorized Service Agency close to the customer. Repairs performed during the warranty period will be performed free of charge so long as the damage/claim is caused by the manufacturing process and not due to improper use and/or handling. The repaired merchandise will be shipped back to the customer prepaid. For warranty claims or further inquiries, call Faema Canada at 416-535-1555.

Curtis: Covered by the supplier: 3 years parts and labor from the original date of purchase, as listed on the digital control board. 2 years parts from the original date of purchase on all other electrical components, fittings and tubing. 1 year labor from the original date of purchase on all electrical components, fittings and tubing. Dualit: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. Espressione: Warranty questions can be directed to the Green Beanery: sales@GreenBeanery.ca

Espro: Warranty questions regarding defective or damaged items should be directed to the manufacturer via e-mail to:info@espro.ca. Tampers: Espro offers an unconditional 30-day money back guarantee on all of its tamper products. Tampers must be returned directly to Green Beanery in order to qualify for a refund; shipment is at the expense of the customer. The Green Beanery will pay for shipment of defective items only, within a return period of 30 days.

Frieling: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. Direct warranty questions to the Green Beanery: sales@GreenBeanery.ca.

FreshRoast: 1 year parts and labor through Fresh Beans Inc. (located in Utah). Tel. 1-805-501-7731. Warranty questions can be directed to the Green Beanery: sales@GreenBeanery.ca. Please note: the unit's top cap is made of fragile glass and plastic - handle with care. This part is not covered under warranty but is available for purchase as a replacement part.

Froth Au Lait, Inc.: Repair or replacement one year from the date of purchase, if the malfunction or failure is a result of defects. Warranty questions are handled directly by Brokerhouse Distributors Inc., cust-service@brokerhousedist.com; Tel. 1-800-668-4802. Located at 4-108 Woodbine Downs Blvd., Toronto, ON M9W 5S6.

Gaggia: Warranty service provided by Philips Saeco; 1 year parts and labor; lifetime warranty on the Central Brewing Unit through the manufacturer. Contact Philips Saeco for assistance at: 1-800-371-7597.

Gene Cafe: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. Contact sales@GreenBeanery.ca.

Hearthware (including i-Roast): 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery (Canadian Customers). We are Authorized Canadian Distributors. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. U.S. Customers: contact the manufacturer directly at janet@hearthware.com

Hottop: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery (Canadian Customers). During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. U.S.Customers are covered through Hottop USA and are eligible for a 30-day satisfaction policy. Please contact sales@GreenBeanery.ca for more information regarding the U.S. warranty.

i-Roast: See Hearthware above.

Kedge: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery (does not include installation assistance). During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period.

Krups: For defective products, a replacement period of 60 days applies from the date of purchase. Otherwise, labor and parts warranty for one year through Krups directly. Please contact Krups at 1-800-418-3325 for assistance with proof of purchase.

Macap, Mazzer: 1-year parts only through Espresso Services Inc. Warranty questions can be directed to the Green Beanery:sales@GreenBeanery.ca.

Melitta: For coffee makers, Melitta provides a one-year warranty. Customers should contact the manufacturer directly at: 1-800-565-4882 with proof of purchase.

Mypressi Twist: One year limited warranty through the manufacturer. For all Mypressi queries and issues, contactsupport@mypressi.zendesk.com. Please note: Marco at sales@mypressi.ca no longer represents Mypressi in Canada.

Pasquini: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period.

Peugeot: Lifetime warranty against Grind Mechanism defects; 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects concerning Grinder Body. Contact sales@GreenBeanery.ca for details. 

Presso: 1 year guarantee through manufacturer. Contact sales@GreenBeanery.ca for more information.

Rancilio: 2 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. Warranty does not cover wear and tear related issues, or rust. We are Authorized Canadian Distributors. 

Saeco: Now known as Philips Saeco; 1 year parts and labor; lifetime warranty on the Central Brewing Unit through the manufacturer.Contact Philips Saeco for assistance at: 1-800-371-7597.

Solar: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. This coverage does not extend to accessories or to those parts that are subject to normal wear and tear, such as gaskets, filters and the unit's heating element.

Solis: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. Direct warranty questions to sales@GreenBeanery.ca.

Stelton: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period.

Swissmar: 1 year parts and labor through Green Beanery. During the warranty period, Green Beanery will repair and replace parts, or issue a store credit for the balance of the warranty period. 

Technivorm: For all equipment purchased after January 21, 2013 - 5 years limited warranty through Transcend coffee. For all equipment purchased before this date: 1 year parts and labor through Transcend Coffee Corp. (Alberta), contact: 1-866-430-9198. Urnex: Warranty questions can be directed to the Green Beanery:  sales@GreenBeanery.ca.

Virtuoso/Maestro: See Baratza above. 

Yama: *Green Beanery will replace a defective unit and/or parts, provided they are reported within 14 days after an order is received; questions can be directed to Green Beanery at sales@GreenBeanery.ca. *Glassware:* Breakage during normal product use is not covered in any way under Yama's policy and is the sole responsibility of the consumer. Green Beanery does offer optional insurance on Yama glass products for a two-month period, beginning with the date of shipment, to cover shipments and the period immediately following.

Zassenhaus: 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects. 10 year warranty against defects concerning grinding burrs. Contact Green Beanery at sales@GreenBeanery.ca for details.

*  Refurbished products only: Green Beanery offers a 90-day warranty from the date of purchase on parts and labor for all refurbished items sold through us,

*  In the event that Green Beanery is unable to service a product covered by us, a pro-rated credit will be issued for the remainder of the warranty. Contact 1-877-626-0005 for further details.

*  Green Beanery offers a repair service for products no longer covered by a warranty contract and, in some cases, for items we do not carry. Please e-mail sales@GreenBeanery.ca with details concerning service queries for products bought elsewhere. Service rates for expired warranties are as follows:

Equipment Repair - 1 hour of labor (30-day warranty on parts and labor)

Home Products

  • Wherever a product under warranty that we sell carries the enhanced Green Beanery warranty, we will cover the return cost of shipping and handling replacement parts, or a replacement product should we determine that to be necessary. In the first six months under the Green Beanery warranty, we will also provide customers with a store credit to compensate them for their shipping expenses, too! If a product that we sell doesn't refer to the Green Beanery warranty, then the manufacturer's warranty applies.   
  • Warranties, of course, do not extend to accessory parts or parts that are subject to normal wear, such as gaskets, filters, etc.
  • It is best to order parts through our online store, although we do accept phone orders. We do not accept returns on parts. Please cite the manual and part number when ordering.
  • Be sure to inspect packages upon receipt; claims should be filed with us within five business days.
  • Many of our machines are tested by the manufacturer (a note to this effect is usually included with the purchase). As a result of testing, you can expect to find coffee residue, water spots, and even water in new machines.

 

Commercial Products

  • It is best to order parts through our online store, although we do accept phone orders. We do not accept returns on parts. Please cite the manual and part number when ordering.
