About the bean
In the heart of Kenya, coffee represents a communal effort where hundreds of cooperatives unite more than 600,000 smallholder farmers, each contributing their craft and commitment to ensure top-quality coffee. Many of these farmers work the small plots that form the backbone of Kenya’s coffee industry (typically less than five acres).
Our new lot of Kenya AA was processed at various washing stations nearby to the farmers that grew these beans in the fertile landscape of Kenya’s Central Highlands. In the cup, the berry-esque brightness increases at a lighter roast. As an Americano and drip sampled at a Full City profile, the result was excellent. Expect a wine-like finish, a distinct and unique sweetness, and a fruit-forward character. Recommended for espresso, drip, and for those of you who enjoy their acidity in the medium-range. And although it’s not the season for it, a great pick for cold brew lovers.
Bright Acidity. Harmonious Blend of Floral, Fruit, and Berry. Lingering Black Currant. Wine-Like Finish.
