About the bean

Super Fine Cup (SFC) • This standout single-origin blend has been crafted by acclaimed farmers Maria Aparecida Bartoloci, Ziberto de Jesus Macedo, and a collective of skilled Cerrado Mineiro growers. Generations of inherited knowledge, in combination with a high-altitude terroir and meticulous natural processing, makes the A Reserva a refined and versatile specialty blend. The extended fruit contact during the natural drying process heightens an inherent sweetness and complexity while preserving the clean, vibrant character that defines top-tier Brazilian coffees.

In the cup, this is a super nice crowd-pleaser — well-balanced flavours, consistent, with a solid body and minimal acidity. Our taste test revealed a smooth and satisfying cup as an Americano, clarity and true character as a V60/Pour-over, and an outstanding espresso (especially at a Full City roast). Flexible and forgiving, this bean roasts quickly and will require a slow and steady approach with careful monitoring between cracks to ensure an even darkening. Go to a City roast for refinement, balance and clarity; tick to Full City for a slightly smokier, bolder cup with richer body and density.

Nuts. Milk Chocolate. Sweet Caramel. Smooth. Velvety. Medium Body.
