About the bean

Not all coffees are built the same. Some are more special than others.

Naturally formed as a single rounded bean inside the coffee cherry, peaberries are valued for their smaller, denser, and uniform structure. That matters! The unique peaberry shape allows heat to circulate more evenly during the roast process for greater balance, stable batch progression, and a consistency that doesn’t come at the expense of character.

In the cup, peaberries tend to offer a sweeter, more concentrated profile thanks to the absorption of the bean’s fully developed fruit. This “Fine Cup” lot has been carefully separated, screen-sized, and graded as specialty calibre.

Expect a particularly enjoyable Brazilian, ideal for blends and everyday brewing that draws notice for clarity, stability, and origin character layered with roasted nuts and an impressive body across multiple brew methods. From V60 to espresso, the flavour story gave us a rich, structured, and satisfying result. A light roast offers nutty depth and soft sweetness; go darker for velvety crema, medium acidity, and smooth distinctiveness. Opt for AeroPress, French press, moka pot, and espresso to bring out this bean’s boldness.

Brown Sugar. Cocoa. Nutty Sweet. Roasted Hazelnut. Spices (Cinnamon).
