About the bean

Haiti, the most mountainous nation in the Caribbean, is celebrated for a rich, chocolate coffee profile with a sweet body, distinguished by mellow citrus highlights.

Our new lot of Washed Haiti — the “3 Mountains” blend — is a cupping contest champion from the award-winning, high-altitude Thiotte region in the country’s southeast, near the border with the Dominican Republic.

Sourced from the Kok Ki Chante cooperative, this complex, chocolate-cherry premium blend is accentuated by smoky, malty, earthy tones. A versatile pick that performs well roasted either light or dark, a medium-dark profile is particularly well suited to the bold and rich “3 Mountains” flavour experience. Brew wise: excels as a French press, drip or espresso.

Black Currant. Orange Peel. Dry Raisin.
