Technivorm Thermal Carafe Brew-through Lid

An easy, inexpensive and very effective upgrade for your Technivorm brewer. Heat retention is increased and air exposure is minimized by dropping coffee at the bottom of the carafe. You can brew and pour through this lid and it also aids in mixing the coffee as it brews. It is top-rack dishwasher safe.

This lid will increase the temperature of the brewed coffee at the end of the brew cycle, but the coffee will cool faster than with the original travel lid as it is not a complete seal. For the very hottest coffee possible, use the brew-thru lid first, then seal the carafe with the travel lid.

This lid is compatible with the thermal carafe for the Technivorm KBT-741 and CD Thermal models. It is not compatible with the KBTS model however.
